Refurbishment of a 1980s terraced house in Glasnevin, Dublin 11, creating a cosy broken-plan living space centred around a high-efficiency wood burning stove set on a raised hearth. The project introduces a new slatted timber balustrade with inset cork stair treads, a skylight bringing daylight deep into the plan, and a compact downstairs WC tucked beneath the stairs with obscure glass blocks used to borrow natural light. A bespoke birch plywood kitchen complements the warm and tactile material palette throughout the house.
