The renovation and extension of a Victorian mid-terrace house on a leafy sloping street in South London. Many of the original features of the house including the staircase were lost in an earlier phase of development. The design reinstates aspects of the original Victorian plan whilst improving lighting and visual connection to the garden. A cosy library occupies the centre of the plan creating a social connection between the old house and the new extension.
