The restoration and extension of a 1920's concrete frame Corporation house with a particular focus on the environmental upgrade of the building fabric.
Large extensions often lead to a dark space in the centre of the building. This design borrows light from the west facing front through an internal screen and a less-than-full-width rear extension captures ambient and midday sun for the benefit of the kitchen and utility.
